Lucky Diamond

Emma purchased Lucky Diamond in 2003 as an unbroken 3 year old. He was  broken and graded with CHAPS at the end of  2005 as a 5 year old. He qualified for Horse of the Year show in 2006 by winning at the CHAPS Midland Show and qualified Horse of the Year Show 2008 by winning at the Lincoln show. He has won at the CHAPS Midland Show again in 2009 qualifying for the Horse of the Year Show 2009. He is shown in the Native and traditional coloured class.

Lucky Diamond is by Diamond Duke who was by King of Diamonds.

One of his best attributes is his fantastic temperament, which he passes on to his stock. He combines level headedness, both when being handled and ridden, together with his competitive ability.

He possess fantastic loose paces and has great ‘star appeal’ in the ring. He has tremendous presence when in the ring and has a true following action.

Conformationally he is very athletic strong and short coupled, so would work well to bring quality and agility back into rangey mares.

He also has a fantastic scopey jump both loose and when being ridden.

He really enjoys jumping having a naturally talented and balanced technique.
